My Grandma always makes the best puddings when we come over for tea. But nothing beats the amazing Chocolate Crunch. I think she makes the best one in Britain!! So I thought I would have a go at making it myself.

Warning this is VERY crunchie

Ingredients

180g margarine

120g light muscovado sugar

60g desiccated coconut

150g self raising flour

30g crushed cornflakes

1 tablespoon of coco powder

225g Melted milk chocolate for the top

Method

1.Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees and grease a 20cm by 30cm swiss roll tin

2.Melt the margarine and sugar together in the microwave for about 2 minutes or until melted and the sugar has dissolved

3.Weigh out all the dry ingredients and mix together

4.Add the wet mix to your dry mix and mix together with a wooden spoon or spatula

5.Press evenly into your swiss roll tin with the back of the spoon or spatula

6.Cook into the oven for 18-20 minutes

7.Take out of the oven and cut into 3 rows of 6 and wait for it to cool

8.When completely cold, melt the chocolate in the microwave till melted and spread evenly on top

9.Cut again in the same place and wait to set

10.You can go a step further and pipe out some words with icing sugar on top of the squares if you want to.
