My Chocolate Coffee Beans are the perfect snack for parents who need a little boost after work. They have a coating of rich dark chocolate and then a crunchy bitter coffee bean hiding inside.

They're super easy to make, and you can use different types of chocolate to change the flavour. (I used dark chocolate which makes them quite rich and bitter, but milk chocolate would make them much sweeter).

Ingredients:

1/2 a mug of coffee beans

Minimum 100g of Chocolate.

Method:

Note : make sure there is space for the tray in the fridge before you start!

1. Melt chocolate in a heat proof bowl over simmering water.

2. Tip in the coffee beans.

3. Mix until all of the beans are completely coated in chocolate.

4. Spread on a non-stick tray or baking parchment and allow to cool in the fridge.

The Next Day: To make the beans extra yummy.

5. Melt some more chocolate.

6. Repeat the method above making sure you separate the beans on the tray to cool.
